Outside of that, bulky pickup through the city is still available year-round, just for an additional fee and still on a schedule.

Yard waste has its own limits that catch people off guard. Curbside bundles are capped at a short length and a modest weight, with a cap on how many bundles go out per week. A real tree-trimming job or a yard that's been neglected for a season produces far more debris than curbside pickup is built to handle, which usually means a landfill run instead.

Burning isn't really a shortcut either. Nampa Fire Protection District requires a residential burn permit, piles inside city limits are capped at a small size, and only clean yard debris like weeds, trimmings, and dry branches qualify. A few things consistently push a Midway job up or down, more than the neighborhood name does on its own.

Older homes in Old Nampa's historic core often carry original fixtures and decades-old contents, and alley access instead of a driveway can slow down how fast a crew can stage and load. Newer subdivisions and HOA communities toward South Nampa tend to move faster, but gated access or HOA rules about where a truck can park can add its own delay.

Volume and weight matter the way they always do. A couch and a few boxes is a different job than a basement that hasn't been cleared in years.
